Offences and penalties

The offences are illegal and reprehensive violations. When they occur a penalty is imposed, usually a fine, which corresponds to the violation of a rule of the road or legislation whose application is committed to Department of Motor Vehicle.
The road offences are regulated by the Highway Code, road legislation and by the general regime of offences.

Classification of Offences Road

Light: are punished with a fine.
Serious: are punished with fines and additional penalty.
Grave: are punished with fines and additional penalty.
